Legal advisor Denitsa Georgieva obtained her Law degree from the Kliment Ohridski University, Bulgaria.

During her studies she specialized in European Commercial and Trade Law.

Apart from her law degree in Bulgarian law and European law, Denitsa has keen knowledge and interest in national and international accountancy law and social security legislation. This allows Denitsa to optimally guide investors and follow up start-up companies by way of performing the accountancy related work.

In the context of international M&A projects Denitsa is a member of the due diligence team assigned with the review of accountancy documents and its compliance with the accountancy legislation. Her knowledge of the Belgian accountancy regulatory allows her to compare different accountancy systems applicable in Europe and in particular with Bulgaria.

During her career in Bulgaria, Denitsa was active in the sector of real estate and construction, assisting overseas clients on the transfer of property and assets, contract drafting, establishment and acquisition of companies, licensing issues and so on.

Given her extensive language skills, studies and experience, Denitsa Georgieva is key in advising A-Law International clients with regard to international cooperation, trade and investment projects in Belgium and in Bulgaria and other EU Member states.

Legal advisor Denitsa Georgieva heads A-Law Bulgarian desk and the Bulgarian team in the different parts of Bulgaria.

Denitsa specialises in Belgian, European and international labour and employment law.

For company law, trade law and investment law she forms a team with attorney-at-law and managing partner Patricia Leers.

For debt recovery law in Belgium and in Bulgaria, traffic infringement and insurance cases she cooperates with attorney-at-law Managing Partner Dirk De Beule.
