Bonded Supervision Mode for Imported Goods with respect to International Service Outsourcing Business Promoted

The General Administration of Customs has recently promulgated the Announcement [2016] No.36, deciding to further promote the implementation of the bonded supervision mode for imported goods with respect to international service outsourcing business.

The Announcement provides: 1. Based on the existing 21 service outsourcing demonstration cities, the implementation of the bonded supervision mode for imported goods with respect to international service outsourcing business shall be extended to the pilot regions carrying out innovative development of trade in services and ten new service outsourcing demonstration cities, namely, Hainan Province, Weihai City, Guian New Area, Xixian New Area, Shenyang City, Changchun City, Nantong City, Zhenjiang City, Ningbo City, Fuzhou City (including Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone), Qingdao City, Zhengzhou City, Nanning City and Urumqi City; 2. The bonded supervision mode shall apply to the technologically advanced service enterprises as accredited by the competent authorities in the above regions; 3. The scope of application, declaration specifications and administration requirements shall still be subject to the Announcement of the General Administration of Customs on All-round Launch and Implementation of the Bonded Supervision Mode for Imported Goods with respect to International Service Outsourcing Business.
