Managing partner A-Law special guest at India Maritime Awards in Mubai

On the 21th of June 2019 the managing partner of A-Law International Law Firm Mrs. Patricia Leers was present as special guest at the 4th edition of the India Maritime Awards in Mubai, India.

As one of the keynote speakers she highlighted the importance for Indian enterprises to understand the European economic and legal landscape and the prerequisite to attain a European mindset on the national level of the member states. She emphasized the position of Belgium as the European testing market and the key position of Antwerp within the new silk road initiative and hub to Africa while referring at the same time to the renowned excellence of the city and port in maritime and logistics and the origins of uniform maritime legislation having been developed by Antwerp lawyers within the Comité Maritime International established in Antwerp in 1897.

She further had the pleasure to hold a speech and meet with the president and members of the IMC chamber of commerce and Industry, Mumbai.
